This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, and it speaks to how we are "restless" until we rest in Him. I can feel this restlessness when I let myself get caught up in the "business" of life - work, kids, chores, errands, etc. And isn't that how the devil begins to work? By getting us distracted and busy? When I let myself fall away from spending time with Him, I can sense things begin to unravel. I need to stay close to Him, by staying in His word, and having that special quiet time with Him. I truly need it, like the air that I breathe. I pray that this song by Audrey Assad blesses you.
"You are the keeper of my heart, and I'm restless 'til I rest in You . . . Oh God."
Oh, this is one of the main ways the enemy gets me. What a beautiful song - I love all the music you share!
