Music Video: I Look to You by Selah
Candace Cameron Bure posted this video on her facebook yesterday, and the first time I heard it, I wept. The second time I listened, I literally bawled my eyes out. There isn't much that I can add to what Amy Perry says in the beginning of the video, or what she shares in the powerful, anointed lyrics. I am truly overtaken by the beauty of this song -- the lyrics, the powerful vocal -- I am completely undone. Truly, my words are inadequate to describe the beauty that lies within this song.
Like Amy Perry says, we have to stop looking at our circumstances, and lay it all at His feet, and look to Him. Praise God we have the privilege of lifting our heads and looking to Him!
And for those of you who are fans of Selah, you'll be happy to know that they have a new CD coming out August 23, 2011, titled Hope of the Broken World. You can get more information here on Selah's website.
