{Friday Share Day} Digital Scrapbooking

Hi there!  Happy Friday!  I thought I'd mix things up a little bit here, and share one of my digital scrapbook pages.  You know, it's kind of like when you were in school, and you got to bring something to share on Fridays.  ;-)

From time to time, I plan on sharing some random things here on Fridays.  That's the plan anyway, and I hope I can be somewhat consistent with it.  And I hope it's a feature you enjoy here.  :-)

Scrapbooking is one of my favorite things to do (next to reading), and I started paper scrapping when my youngest daughter was a baby . . . so almost 15 years ago.  I used to be pretty good at keeping up with my scrapbooks, but over the years, I got further and further behind.  About a year ago, MyMemories contacted me and asked if I'd like to try their product, and post a review and giveaway here on my blog.  Some of you may remember it.  Since then, I've been making lots of pages, and really enjoying it!  It's so fun and easy . . . even for a computer illiterate like me!

If you're interested in checking it out, you can visit the MyMemories website for more information.  And if you think you want to jump in to the digital scrapbooking world, you can receive $10 off the price of the software, by using code STMMMS74342.

So how about you? Are you a paper scrapper? A digital scrapper? Or someone who would like to get started?  How do you preserve your family's memories?

Hope you all have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!  Thanks so much for stopping by, and be blessed!  :-)

  1. OH! I JUST ordered my daughter's scrapbook last night! Every year I do one for their birthday. A memory book of their past year. At the end Hubby and I write them a special note from us. I used to do paper books, but switched to digital about 4 years ago. My oldest is twelve and I'm still doing it. There's been times I've wanted to quit - it takes a LOT of work - but it's such a tradition now and I can't wait some day for their spouses and kids to see them.
    Love your page above!

    1. Thank you, and that's so cool that you scrapbook, too! Who do you order your books from? I use Shutterfly.

I know exactly what you mean -- it does take a lot of work, but it's fun, too. And I agree 100% -- I'm looking forward to future spouses and kids looking at the books. They really are a treasure!

I'm so glad you could stop by today. Thanks for the visit! : )

  2. I DO use Shutterfly - and they were just having 50% off on hardcover books. That was a HUGE savings. Not sure if you need to order any soon or if it's still running (I ordered on Friday) but you'll have to check it out.

  3. Hi Michelle, I just noticed this post, visiting through your blog today. :)

I've done a few paper scrapbooks of our holidays. I found it a lot of fun but haven't done much in the last couple of years. The last one I did was a graduation album for my daughter 2 years ago. I did one for my son as well, and that means I have to start thinking about an album for my last daughter soon, who graduates in 2014!

Love the page of your kids. They are beautiful and I love all the lavender! I've never tried digital scrapbooking but it sounds like fun too. No mess and pieces of paper everywhere!

  4. Hi Cathy! Thank you so much for stopping by -- it's always good to see you. :D

Thank you for your kind words as well; I appreciate it!

I think you'd really enjoy the digital scrapbooking -- like you said, no mess! It's great! And you can work on it a little bit at a time, if needed, and then come back to it when you have time.

By the way, my oldest daughter graduates in 2014, as well. It's crazy to think that high school is almost over for her.
