Only You - David Crowder Band

I just discovered this song by the David Crowder Band a couple days ago, and I must say that it is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.  I was instantly overwhelmed by the power of the music and the lyrics.  There's just something about the intro to the song that draws you in.  Without any words at all, I felt like I was invited in to just be still . . . to be still and rest in the presence of my Lord.  We were created to live in relationship with our creator and the lover of our souls.  For me, this song sums it up perfectly -- our purpose is simple.  Putting God above all else, worshiping Him, praising Him, and trusting Him.  It's not always easy living out this Christian life that we have been called to, but when we stay connected with Him every day, it's the best place to be.  Praise the Lord!

Only You - David Crowder Band
Take my heart, I Lay it down
At the feet of you whose crowned
Take my life, I’m letting go
I lift it up to You who’s throned

And I will worship You, Lord
Only You, Lord
And I will bow down before You
Only You Lord

Take my fret, take my fear
All I have, I’m leaving here
Be all my hopes, be all my dreams

You're my delights, be my everything

And I will worship You, Lord
Only You, Lord
And I will bow down before You
Only You Lord

And It’s just you and me here now
Only you and me here now

You should see the view
When it’s only You
