It feels like it's been awhile since I've posted, and I apologize for being MIA most of the time. I've been substitute teaching a lot, and then with Christmas and the kids being home from school . . . well, you know how it goes. :::sigh::: I feel like I could certainly use another week off, but alas, that is not the case. It's back to work this week, and though I love downtime as much as the next person, I'm so thankful and filled with gratitude to be able to do what I do . . . it's such a blessing!!
Now, onto the song for today! I'm not sure, but this may be the first MercyMe song that I've showcased here. This one is currently on KLOVE, and I think you'll agree, it's a GREAT ONE! It speaks to how amazing, awesome, and powerful our God is, and how the veil was torn, opening the way for us to each have a personal relationship with Him . . . close, intimate access, any time we call on Him. That's AMAZING, and I continue to be in awe that he did that for me . . . and for you!
Enjoy and be blessed! Happy Monday!
Hallelujah! He lives in me!
Happy New Year, dear Michelle!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW. Thank you so much for posting this beautiful song! MercyMe songs have always blessed me. I have almost all their albums, back from 10 years ago, lol! I remember times of blessed worship with the Lord and having their earlier cd's playing in the background. I haven't heard this one yet but I can always count on YOU to bring sweet finds and bless my day :-)
Praying your new year is starting off with an extra measure of peace, grace and joy from the Lord! May you feel His presence in every step and feel His strengthening in every breath.
God bless you, my friend!
Amanda

ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you to:) And yeah, wouldn't another week be heavenly? But I cracked the whip and made the kids start back up today--we're focusing on summer ahead, way down the road...it's just a tiny speck, but it's there!
Hi Susan! I've missed you! Hope the Christmas break was joyous and restful for you and the family. : )
DeleteLOL on Summer! Yes, definitely a tiny speck down the road, but I'm sure it'll be here in no time. Hope you're having a great start to your week!

DeleteI would love to participate, and hope to share a post like yours soon. I really enjoyed reading your answers to the questions, and getting to know you better! I like that you mention Denise Hunter's series. I have that one on my shelf, but haven't read it yet. I've heard great things about that series, and would like to read it this year. We shall see. So many books, and so little time. ;-)
Have a wonderful week!
You'll love Denise's Nantucket series. She is such a gifted writer who beautifully displays God's grace through her characters. You'll know what I mean after you read one! :)
DeleteThanks that song was amazing of You Are I Am by Mercy Me. The words were great and the music.
